c:\windows\system32\bridge.dll access is denied " I have tried searching the
knoweledge base but perhapse I'm missing something. I think this may be to
do with networking, I'm not on a network.

Thanks Lance. I have ran spybot and it removed everything else but the bridge.dll. I will try ad-aware.

Bridge.dll is used as part of spyware. What happens after the program is deleted by AdAware or SpyBot SD, the pointers remain. The easiest way to clean it out is to use HiJack This. The program gives you a log sheet and the folks at Computer Cops can then
review it and tell you which lines need to be fixed, which HiJack This can do. They can be found at http://computercops.biz/

It worked for me.
