I have 3 XP machines with Microsoft Office installed. Two have XP Professional and Office 2000, which was installed from the administrator menu. When the computers are booted up in user mode, Windows Installer always tries to install Office. The third h
as XP Home Edition and Office XP. Recently, whenever I try to open an Office document, installer tries to install Front Page, which I chose not to install. This problem has only just come up on the Home XP machine. The other two are new to my workplace.
Is there some sort of bug in a recent Windows Update that would explain the problems I'm having with installer?
