hi there i tried upgrading from ME to XP but when i
download the file i cannot open it after the download can

Download *WHAT* file?! If you want us to assist you in installing a warez
version of XP you downloaded from IRC or some P2P network you'd better have
a swift rethink. This group is to assist people who *BOUGHT* their copies
*legally*.
