View Full Version : Explorer Folder Settings

I have created Explorer shortcuts to access frequently
used directory paths. The original Explorer accessed
through right clicking the START button defaults to a
setting where the Folder icon is depressed and two panes
appear, the left pane for folders, the right pane for sub-
folders and files.

When I create shortcuts, I can't get them to default to
having the Folder icon depressed, so I am always having
to click the Folder icon to display the two panes rather
than just the single "sub-folders and files view".

I have tried going to the original Explorer, then
options, then apply view to all folders ... but it
doesn't work on my shortcuts.

Does anyone have any ideas?
