So Slow

Ever since my daughter put Messenger on my PC it has become terribly slow,
particularly when using E Mail and newsgroups. Ordinary Internet access
seems slower too.
I pay good money for broadband access but now it feels like I'm using an old
28 modem.
Any clues anybody?

Remove messenger and see if it is the defiante cause, if no improvement,
then its likely its not messenger but something else. Do you have a
Firewall?? Antivirus?? Spyware Scanner??....... lots of reasons the net
could be slow mate.
