Outlook Express + Messenger...... again sorry, missed older threads on issue!

As i'm sure alot of you re aware, windows meseenger always auto starts with
XP when opening Outlook Express, this the majority of the time does'nt even
bring up the MSN Icon thingy to indicate this.

What i'm after here is a fix to stop the bugger loading with Outlook as i
use MSN Messenger and prefer to load it when i choose and not when Outlook
chooses to.

Yes its disabled via the outlook settings......

I know there's a fix, just its been some time since i used the newsgroups so
i can't remember which group had a link or description on how to fix this.

Can someone offer help?... if not, plz don't post........

To fix this, simply close Outlook Express, then download and run this .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/stopmessenger_oe.reg

After this, Outlook Express and Messenger will have nothing to do with each other ever again.

This .reg file stops Windows Messenger from starting with Outlook Express -- exactly what you
want.
