View Full Version : notification area icons missing

All the icons are missing from my notification area, even
though they all show under Properties. Most are set to
only hide when inactive. Some are set to always show.
None of them show ever. They used to. Something has
changed, I don't know what.
The only thing I found in Microsoft's Knowledge Base was
article # 321213, stating that icons may disappear from
the notifications area when you select a high contrast
scheme in the color schemes box on the appearance tab.
I haven't done that, and checked to make sure nothing was
set for high contrast.
Help! Any suggestions? Please?
