getting a dialog box that states windows is shutting down
and it procedes to shut down..user didnot do anything for
system to shut down...does this after user has been on for
about 30 minutes.

Blaster Worm, see group archive for removal
(I could set up a script that sends this message every 2 hours; would
that help?)

Bad news, I'm afraid. Read this:

When you get it all recovered, make it a habit to visit Windows Update
regularly. Microsoft posted a patch in July that would have protected you
from that particular virus. Other patches block other potential bad guys -
but only if you get the patches and install them.

It appears your computer has been infected with the Blaster virus. For more
