I want to disable the "unread email" notification message
at logon... seems anyone on my pc who logs into hotmail or
outlook gets tracked and reported at logon time... very
annoying.

Get a copy of TweakUI - one of the windows powertoys - from the microsoft
website. You will be able to disable the function from there.

Hi,

Passport:

Go to Start/Run and type in: control userpasswords2. Advanced/Manage
Passwords/Remove.

Add Control Userpasswords2 to the Control Panel (Line 1)

Use TweakUI/Logon/Unread Mail and Repair/Unread Mail Count
