I have a new system with Windows XP pro. The video card
is a Radeon 8500 All in Wonder.

My monitor's brightness and contrast are already turned
up to maximum, however, when I load many online programs,
the images are incredibly dark.

In windows 98 I was able to go into my display, look at
the settings and increase brightness and gamma beyond
what my monitor buttons require.

Is this feature not avaiable in XP or is it the video
card that is not allowing me to adjust these settings?

Thanks for your help.

Visit the website of the manufacturer of your MONITOR and download
and install the correct drivers for your specific monitor model. Then =
visit
the ATI website (www.ati.com) and download/install the latest drivers
designed for Windows XP and your specific video card model.

Note: Download and install the ATI Control Panel first, then reboot.
Next, download and install the ATI drivers.
