I have a 30GB HD on an xp home OS, it also has office 2003 with 512 DDram
2.6mhz processor. I had a virus that caused me to reinstall win xp but when
I reinstalled with nothing but the PnP devices attached, it said that my
drive had only 27 point something gb left. Now I know that the OS isn't that
big so where has the remaining 2GB gone? I am now down to 15gb but for the
life of me I cannot figure out where/what is using all that HD space. I have
checked what programs I have installed etc etc but I cannot find one thing
that is really eating the drive space. I must admit I have a lot of images
(for business use, Coins if you are interested) but I make sure that I scale
them all down to below 50kb each. Can anyone tell me what I should be
looking for to regain some HD space. Please don't say use disk cleanup
because the most space that has ever recovered is about 1mb
