Every time I start up my computer my sound settings have
gone back to zero. I then go into my sound icon, increase
the volume and it stays there until I shut down again.
Can anyone help.

Many sound utilities can override the Windows volume settings. Programs such
as QuickTime, RealAudio, WinAmp, WMPlayer may be set to zero volume and
started when you boot the system. Check all of these utilities and set the
volume to your preferred level. If this has no effect, you may want to use
the utility at MVP Kellys website to refresh the save settings on exit.

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)
