Hi Group,
We have 2 computers. One Laptop and one PC, both with XP Home. Our ISP is
AOL -Germany.(I'm not german, I just live here. :-) ) We are wireless
Lanned with a D-Link 624+ Access Point and the PC with a D-Link 520 PC card
and I myself am wireless with Netgear in my laptop.
Our ISP (AOL- Germany) and our computers are hooked up in that we
automatically become our IP's when we turn our computers on. So naturally we
are permanently online.
Question: We wish to make a small home network. What do we use for IP
addresses? 192.168.0.3 and 4; as the 1 and 2 are taken by the internet.
Can anyone recommend a site that could help me with this problem? I've been
to the typical ones, but they can't offer me anything "this easy". Everyone
else's problems are much more in depth and not as simple as mine.
Please help, I have the weekend off and I would like to get it done this
weekend. :-)
GL

MikeD,
Why email you? This is a public newsgroup - does your answer concern some
sort of secretive hacking system that you cannot share with the rest of the
world or your eyes will be burned out from a satellite in space?
