xp pro & dialup

So lets try another group:
Am I the only one with this problem:
I open the properties of the dial up connection
Set the 'Show icon in notification area when connected'
And some 'ok ' clicks.

The icon comes up for that session BUT the next time I dial up 'Show icon in
notification area when connected' is UN-checked! and icon doesnt show in
skytray. Any one got any ideas? TIA

Hi Todd,

See if this helps. Make your changes, run this edit, reboot.

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
