Instaling printer Error

when i try to install a printer it i get an error message
saying that the Operation could not be completed.

how do i fix this problem. I am the only administrator on
this computer

Ensure the print spooler is running... from the command prompt type

net start spooler

(and hit enter)

Then try the installation again.
