I recently reinstalled win XP and downed and installed all the critical
updates required. I wanted to download these updates and burn them to a CD
to save the time downloading should I need them in the future.
I went to the Update Catalog and looked at all the Updates shown for both XP
with sp1 and XP RMT. of the 18 updates that were install when XP was
reinstalled (two weeks ago) many of these updates are not listed in the
catalog. An example is the October 2003, Cumulative Patch for Internet
Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (KB828750). Of the 18 updates installed, I was
only able to fine 8 of them. Does anyone know why this might be and if so,
how do I get the ones missing so that they can be burned for later use?
