View Full Version : BSOD Stop error driving me NUTS!

the fact that the problem only occurs at high cpu usage
and therefore, high power usage, points to the power
supply going bad.
usually they simply fail and won't boot the comp but i
have heard of a power supply causing your problem.

Is there any way to test this theory? Would you think 400watts is enough?

Wow... great information on that site! I'll try disabling nortonAV ... if I
had some different memory I would try that, but I only have GEIL 2.5cas and
Kingston HyperX
