Epson C80 printing problems

My Epson C80 printer worked jsut fine until I got a new
computer with Windows XP. Now, someitmes the printer
works fine while other times the printer stops half way
thru a print job and starts printing giberish and spewing
out blank pages. The software used doesn't seem to
matter. I have contacted Epson's help site and have
tried a few of their fixes, but the problem continues.
Any ideas?

Uninstall and reinstall... you appear to have corrupted the drivers
somewhere along the way.
