I have an installation problem in Windows XP. When I try to install or
uninstall a program I get the message "Error 1324 The path My Pictures
contains an invalid character". If I'm trying to install the setup stops.
If I'm trying to uninstall, the uninstall stops. I was able to reinstall
windows XP hoping that would fix the installation part of Windows but that
didn't help. I read through the "Microsoft" pages looking for a fix-I found
the "Error 1324" but did not understand what to do. I have tried to
uninstall Kaza, Lime Wire-I have tried to install Roxio Easy Cd Creator and
Logitech Quick Cam and cannot do any of these. I also went to the Control
Panel, Administrative Tools,
Applications and it showed the errors when I tried to install/uninstall.
The link to
Microsoft had no information to help me. If someone could help I
really would appreciate it. Pat
