I have winxp pro running at my home location...I took the computer (minus
keyboard, mouse, monitor) to another location and hooked it up...Error..
keyboard error, press F1 to continue. keyboard error and mouse doesn't
work. I reboot a few times and everything works ok. but I still have to
press F1 to continue to load windows. keyboard and mouse are standard type
nothing special. Anyone know why this would happen..

Explain what you mean by 'minus keyboard, mouse, monitor'.

Additional Info
by (minus keyboard, monitor, mouse) I mean that I only took the pc box. The
other location had all these. Everything is same type ps/2 keyboard and
ps/2 mouse.. Using Winxp drivers. After the blackscreen "press F1 to
continue" windows loads up but mouse will not move... I then do a reboot
and then after "F1 to continue" I get windows to load up and the mouse works
fine...
