I am able to go in and check msgs/get msgs/send msgs, and have configured my
"user account" for email.
QUESTION:
When configuring my husbands so he can read the same emails in his "user
account" = how does this work?
Does he get the same email
or
Does it only get sent to one user- the first one who checks the email?

Set up a separate account for your husband then see below for how to
handle mail for the two accounts.
Getting mail:
If you click on the Send/Receive button in OE mail for both accounts
will be sent/received and incoming messages for both accounts will
appear in your Inbox.
But if you click on Tools / Send and Recieve, you can then choose to
send/receive for a specific account.
Composing mail:
When you compose a message, the "From" box will have a drop-down list
containing yours and your husband's email address - choose yours to
send an email from you.
Directing incoming mail to different Inboxes:
- Right click on your Inbox and make a new folder called "Mine" (or
whatever)
- Right click on your Inbox and make a new folder called "Hubbie" (or
whatever)
- You should now have two new mail boxes under Inbox
- Now go Tools / Message rules / Mail, click on New
- under Conditions, check box that says "Where the message is from a
specified account"
- under Actions, check the box that says "Move it to the specified
fiolder
- in Rule Description box, click on the underlined words and select
the your account and your new folder called "Mine"
- make a similar rule to move hubbie's mail.

And if you set up a separate User in Windows XP and configure each instance
of OE to just one mail account, it's even easier.
