I won't to use my recovery cd, so I can get my computer right back to the start.

mmmmm. Let me get my crystal ball out and see if I can figure out what you want. mmmmm ah yes. It says what you really want to know is if you can use the recovery disk supplied by the computer manufacturer or supplier to reinstall your OS. That depends sol
ely upon who it is and what their policy is. Some only supply a disk capable of initiating boot so you can get into the recovery console and access hidden partitions for recovery and others supply a complete OEM copy of XP. A little more information would
