Hi
I have winXP home edition. I have noticed that I don't have 'my briefcase'
as I did on Win 98 or is it hidden somewhere?
TIA

Hi Tracy,

Its there, but isn't installed to the desktop by default. Right click =
somewhere on your Desktop, and choose "New", then "Briefcase", and you =
can name it "My Briefcase" if that is what you want. When you go to open =
it, you'll get a wizard to make use of its functionality.

Hi Tracy,

Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache. Look for a file named "syncapp" and
double click it. An icon should appear on your desktop that says "My
Briefcase". Double click it and it will come up with this window that tells
you how to use it.

Or...

Restore or Place Briefcase to the Desktop (Line 147)

Jon,

The dllcache folder is a hidden folder, in the Windows\System32 folder.
Click Start, Run and enter

%WINDIR%\System32\dllcache

OK,

Thanks Doug (Sorry Kelly),
I have my settings to show hidden folders and files, but not the super =
hidden ones under "protected operating system files". Anyway, the file =
in question is still viewable in the "system32" folder also without =
looking in the dllcache folder :-).
