background pictures

I have some pictures that got into my desk top background
group. I want to get rid of them. How do I do this?

Do a search for the file name. It should be the same as the name that is
displayed, along with the file extension (BMP, JPG and etc.).

Likely locations are the following folders:

Windows
Windows\Web\Wallpaper
Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\My Pictures
