Hello,
I recently installed a second hardrive on my computer to
transfer several large program files from "C" current one
(Seagate 120 GB) to "F" (Seagate 40GB)the "new' one. When
I change bios settings and boot from "F" I can see the
drive tagged as "drive F" in the device mgr, however when
I boot from "C" I can see the drive in Device Mgr, but it
is unavaliable to access files and it ahs the "F" drive
assignment. I would like to be able to use both drives
now and then later remove the "F" drive and use it in
another computer. Both drives have XP Pro installed and
both are bootable and contain data that I would like to
keep. The best advice so far has been to reassign a new
drive letter to either drive through Admin settings but
before I do I would like some guidance. Any help will be
appreciated.
Thanks
