Internet Explorer doesn't open pages?

I have XP Media Center Edition with Earthlink loaded in
my new PC (Dell)and it worked for a week. Now the records
show that the connection is made through Earthlink
but "Internet Explorer cannot open the page" window opens
And It's that way for every web page I go to except one.
I also have Juno as a free internet back-up, & Explorer
works just fine with it. What do I need to do? Roger

If an account is working with one ISP and not another, you know that the
basics for getting online are in place.

Sometimes items in Network Connections will corrupt or if there was a
reinstall of the operating system, the connection item is no longer valid.
Try creating a new connection to Earthlink. If this new connection does not
work either, it's time to call Earthlink's customer support.
