After using IOLO system mechanic and restarting my machine all my fonts were changed to symbols. After reading the messages on the board (thanks) I was able to finally fix the problem. So, I thought I would paste what I did that fixed the problem and becau
se of the change to symbols I will go step by step.
First locate the control panel, it looks like a white board with a check on it and the pen that wrote the check.
Next click on regional settings, looks like a globe and is around # 22.
In the dropdown box choose the 25th down and hit apply. This is English (United States). Restart your computer. You should have words insted of symbols now and should be able to see the options to make any other changes necessary.
