My comuter crashed. When I turn it on it says NTLDR is
missing.
HP support mailed me start up disks to reintall operating
system.
However, when I get to the final disk I get this error
message: Problem in extracting process: WINDOWS\I386
\Console_couldn't be opened
Then there are 100's more of these time messages.
I am at a loss.
Thanks

Contact HP again - it may be a bad disk or something else.
They are your best source of help since they supplied both the PC and the
disks you are now using.
