256 colors

[Nancy]

After booting the puter screen goes black and changes to
256 color mode. Easy enough to change back but why is it
doing this? I've updated the drivers but didn't help.

Perhaps it is your drivers
Are you using the drivers from the maufacuturer
And also, are you shutting down the computer in the colour depth you like to
use?

Yes, I'm using updated drivers from the manufacturer and
I'm also shutting down in my prefered color depth.
800x600 true color. I thought it might have been a game
setting doing it but I checked everything I could find
and everything was as it should be. Also, when I'm
connected to the internet it doesn't change but sometimes
it will change on its own when it's not connected. Any
ideas? Thanks again.
