I have several folders in my I.E. favorites. I need to
know how to put the contents of each (large) folder in
ABC order without dragging each new one into it's proper
order

Let me clarify as best as I can. When I click on the Fav.
tabs on they show on the left side. Each Fav. folder has
dozens of bookmarks. Everytime I add a new one it ends at
the bottom of what ever folder I put said bookmark in. I
then have to drag it to it's proper ABC order. There was
no problem when there was only a few in each folder but
after awhile the sorting in ABC order doesn't work
anymore. The answer you gave me allowed me to sort them
when I open ALL folders and I was able to sort them that
way but not when I click on the Favorites tab on top of
my browser. When I right click "sort by name" does not
display.
As you can probaly tell I'm new to all this. Thanks for
your time and help.

Use alt-a to get the dropdown Favorites listings (or click the word
Favorites rather than the icon). You'll find "sort by name" in the
right-click menu.

Phil,
If you check the software called 1st TurboRun
(http://www.turborun.com) you can make your life even easier! Instead
of spending time, organizing your bookmarks in proper order, you may
access any bookmark in seconds with this program. This program shows a
list of all bookmarks and narrows it as you type any part of its name.
As you type "go" it shows "Google" and "Where do you want to go
today?" and so on. After few keystrokes the list is narrowed to the
desired bookmark. Then you can open it or locate its folder and so on.
And this program do the same for your programs, documents, videos,
music, downloads etc!
Just check this program at http://www.turborun.com
WBR,
Mike.
