I know this subject has been posed and addressed before but the suggestions
given do not seem to cure the problem. The problem has to do with the
customize options. All icons only show the "Hide when inactive " option.
Attempting to scroll down does not show any of the other three options that
should be there. I did run Kelly's VB script to remove old icons and I also
went through the task manager remove and re-install explorer suggestion.
Neither of these had any effect on restoring the options. There was a
suggestion that a re-install of XP would correct the problem but I don't
want to go that far unless there are no other avenues to explore.
