We just bought Windows XP Home Edition, installed it and
have a few problems. We have Road Runner as our DSL and
we can get on RR but not AOL. We have the system in our
home on two computers complete with a firewall. We
haven't tried the firewall recommended by Windows XP.
Also everytime we turn off the computer and come back the
date and time are back to 1999, 12:01 AM.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

Get a new cmos battery and replace it on the PC. Yes, you have to open up
the PC case. Turn off, and unplug the PC from the wall first.
