right click-send to-mail recipient makes file smaller;any other way to do it?

All my pics downloaded from my camera are huge in size. I noticed that when
I right click on the pic and choose send to mail recipient that a 300kb pic
will be reduced to 40kb and still look good.

How can I duplicate this procedure on all my pics with the XP Pro?

Josh, go to irfanview.com and download the irfanview viewer. It allows you
to change picture size. But I would not alter the size of any of my
pictures on a permanent basis. Making them smaller to email is fine but
leave the originals alone.
