BlankMy problem is that the Font size,in Outlook Express, as shown on the
formatting bar defaults to 12 point size.
When I use the drop down box to select another size, as soon as the first
letter is typed, it jumps back to 12 pt.
Under Format,Font is opens up showing 12, I change it to say,8, and it
accepts the change there, and the formatting bar drop down box also then
changes to 8 pt.
As said when the first letter is typed, both the drop down, and the digilog
box, under the Format/Font default area, both then change to 12 pt.again.
I have check for any other Font size preselection programme without any
luck.
Norton A.V. is correct, no parasites via the and.doxdesk site, Adware and
the like, and O.E. runs fine other than this glitch.

Question: Does the font size, on my computer, determine that the receiving
PC also shows up in 12 pt size. ?
On my screen, with medium font size selected with View, the type is about 6
mm high.

Thanx
Rob.

Hey
Try setting your fonts size in: Tools/Properties/Write tab/ Message Fonts
for E-mail and news.
I think that the receiver will see it in the same size as written.

Thanx Sparkie, checked that before, and it is not the problem.
Also your reply about the receiving end. I cut and pasted, from one email to
the other, in html format, and the second email the type was twice the
height of the original.( from 6 to 12 mm).
It makes me wonder if 1 pt = 1 mm.?, although with a name like point, it
sounds old English, like inches & feet etc.

Also should have said that I have Windows Xp Home edition, O.E.6
