I wanted to Turn on ClearType Font-Rendering Technology and in my OEM
product I am unable to make the neccessary adjustment because
# Control Panel, and then click Appearance and Themes # is not present.

Any ideas most welcome.

Well I found the answer to my question in part

I can now turn on clear type, but I still don't know why the appearance
and themes is not in the control panel?

Appearance and themes is under Display.

Start | Settings | Control Panel | Display

These will get you the same Properties.

Right click the Desktop | Properties.
Start | Run | Type: control desktop | OK
Start | Run | Type: desk.cpl | OK
