A week ago I asked if anyone knew why my windows explorer directory
tree was flashing every 2 seconds whle viewing a XP machine on a XP
Home edition network. No one answered so I guess nobody knew why or
what a fix would be.

While browsing Kellys Korner website looking for anything that could
be a fix I noticed a reg hack that stopped automatic icon refresh, or
something like that (disablerefresh.reg). On a hunch I tried it and
it fixed my problem

So, Kelly, even though it's not specifically mentioned as a network
annoyance fix it stopped my problem and I appreciate it.

I am having the same issue with windows explorer. I have been unsuccessful in finding the fix. Please tell me where to look in Kelly's Korner to find the fix.

Thanks,
