Word/Address Book

In Word, under labels & Envelopes, after clicking on the
address book, message reads: Either there is no default
mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the
messaging request. Please run Microsoft Office Outlook
and set it as the default mail client.

Click OK then:

Logon failed: You must logon to Microsoft Exchange to
access your address book. Error code: Unspecified error.

Is it really this complicated just ro create & access
address for envelopes?
