Using Office 97 in Windows XP

I am buying a Dell w/ Windows XP only. I own Office 97.
Are they compatible.

They seem to be, assuming yours ran on win98. Win95 is
hard though. Just in case, I'd recommend finding out
about the Compatability Wizard" in XP; it might help if
threre are problems. And, lacking an MVP or other more
reliable source than I posting here.

Haven't been around long enough to be sure, but, seems
like that would be in the archives? Did you go back
thru the old messages?
