outlook express backup

i need help with backing up my messages and address book
in outlook express. it was no problem in 98 and ME, but
i can't find the files in windows explorer for XP. when
i try to use export in OE, it does not let me choose
where to back up to. it just says it will be backed up
to outlook or exchange, neither of which i use or have
installed. i am trying to back up to a cd. thanks in
advance.
