My daughter uses Windows Messenger on our family
computer? Is there a way to disable it from automatically
starting when I turn on our PC? When I'm working on the
PC, I keep getting Messenger pop ups indicating that her
buddies are logged in. This is driving me crazy. I have
to go into Messenger and log off from her net passport.
This happens even when there is no Messenger icon on the
bottom right of the desktop. I would prefer that she
turns on Messenger when she wants to use it. I have
unchecked the automatic startup etc numerous times and it
still continues. Unfortunately it irritated someone in
the family so much they deleted windows messenger......
but..... the messages still appear everytime the computer
is started up even though the automatic start up was
unchecked, and I now cant find it to put it back on the
toolbar. Desperately seeking a solution!
