No version of Windows has ever included PowerPoint. You may have had it on
your old computer, but it did not come with Windows, it was part of Office
2000 that you had installed. If you have the retail Office 2000 disk you can
install it on your new XP computer; if not you will have to buy it.

Greetings --
You'll have to go to a store and buy any such applications that
you want/need.
Neither the Microsoft Office application suite, nor any of its
individual component applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,
Outlook, etc.), have _ever_ been "part" of *any* Windows operating
system. They are, and always have been, separate applications, that
must be purchased and installed separately.

Powerpoint is a separate program (a part of Office, not Windows). If you
still have your Office 2000 CD and the 25 digit code for Office, you could
try installing the program from it.
If the Office 2000 CD is an OEM copy that came with your old computer,
check the licensing agreement. Most OEM supplied CDs cannot be transferred
to a different computer as they are intended for use only on the computer
that they shipped with.

If you only want to view PP presentations there is a free viewer on MS
site - go to Downloads choose Power Point and search for "viewer"
