Critical Updates etc.

I have just received from Microsoft my Security Update CD February 2004. My
question is, if I make a System Restore Point prior to loading CD, if I get
any problems from the updates will I be able to restore to the point I made
and undo the alterations that the CD implemented. I suspect not but hope the
answer will be yes.

No, because as part of the process, System Restore is disabled which
deletes the Restore Points.

As always it is a good idea to have back-ups of important data.

Will this CD just start up and install or will I have the chance to choose
what to install as you do when you download?
