I am running WinXP, home ed. Recently tcpsvcs.exe
starting using 97-99% CPU resources, and I cannot get
online. There is nothing wrong with the DSL modem,
nothing wrong with the router, and the PC can ping other
PCs on the home network, as well as ping the router and
DSL. What's going on??? THanks for your help.

Someone has suggested it could be a virus, but I run
Trend Micro (V-Com's SystemSuite 5 package). Any other
suggestions? I do not have a bad driver showing up or
anything such as that. About a week prior to this problem
a SaveDump occured, due to a blue screen (stop error
0x0000000a). I've also noticed that the system is
attempting to load UDNT, unsuccessfully.

I have searched all over for solutions - I hope someone
can help!

Try the service pack 7. Click to download and install it. This may or may not help. But it does describe your problem exactly and this is the fix for it.

Good luck.
