Folder view gone weird: when I click or double click on a
folder, instead of opening the search companion opens! I
have to right click on the "explore" option to get a file
to open. what a pain! How do I turn off the search option
so I can just open files?

See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Fixes, Search/Command Prompt Opens When Double

That fix sure has been getting a workout this past week, Doug. Thanks
for making it available.

PS. You're going to have to add an extra digit to your counter soon.
You're almost "full up"!
