I have been having a problem using XP to burn CD's. It
keeps saying to insert a CD when a blank one is placed in
there. The upshot is I am unable to burn anything using
XP. I have other burners, eg Nero and that works fine with
no problem at all. I also have no problem with other CD's
either audio or data, just when a blank CD is inserted.
I've just got a camcorder and using Movie Maker 2, it
won't copy anything onto CD because it says their is no CD
present. Is there any reason why XP doesn't like it? Any
advice gratefully received.

Andrew

Hi Andy,

Please try the following:
1. My computer -> right click on the CD drive and -> Properties
2. Click on the "Recording" tab
3. Uncheck "Enable CD recording..." -> Apply
4. Recheck "Enable CD recording..." -> Apply
5. OK and try rerunning with the blank CD media

Please let us know if you're still experiencing this issues, thank you!
