Can you help . Ive recently returned from my ski trip and
have made a holiday video out there on my Sony digital 8
video camera . I wish to make a shortened video tape of
the trip including special effects etc ... I have
attempted to transfer the video to the windows movie
maker but when i click "capture video" from the "file"
icon the process begins but when its finished and i
attempt to play a scene from the origonal video it
appears to be greatly distorted from the origonal . It
looks fuzzy , the colours dont come out properly and the
sound isn't perfect . Can you assist ? Do i need a
certain type of encoder ? or something ?

cheers steve ( please reply to e mail )
