Win XP Pro
Lexmark Z12 Printer via USB or Parrallel
No network connections other than dial-up tcp/ip
System has worked fine with this printer for sometime.
One day on boot the printer could was detected as new
hardware and gave the error:
Found New Hardware: "RPC Server is unavailable at this
time"
I found a few posts similar to this error and the advice
was to confirm that Remote Procedure Call was set
to 'Automatically' within services.msc.
This did not solved the issue.
Any thoughts?
