I have windows xp home and I have just installed a second
hard drive. The instructions say I must change my BIOS
settings but.....
How do I access the bios please

The BIOS has nothing to do with Windows. It is what starts your computer and
you get into it during system boot. Usually there is a essage on the screen
telling you to hit <DEL> or some other key to get into the BIOS. Check your
owner's manual.

When you boot the system, on one of the early boot screens, usually the
first, there's a message to hit a specific key if you wish to enter setup.
When you see that message, hit that key.
