Updating Me to XP

When I load the XP on my Present Computer, which has ME on
it, the HPS S-20, HP SCANJET, HP 8200 CD-WRITTER and my
external drive work all the time. I down load all of the
new drivers and the first time that XP accepts them. Then
when I reboot the computer it might recognize them, but
most of the time it does not. The printer is the only one
that it recognize everytime.

I have a PowerSpec computer. I have taken the XP off and
loaded the ME back on and everything works fine.

Computer Spec: 1.2 G CPU speed, 512 Megs of Ram.

I would remove the devices in Windows Me , upgrade to XP, and then use the
new updated drivers when Windows XP asks for them.

To expand on Kevin's reply, you probably will need to DL the latest WinXP
drivers for each of these devices from the HP Website. Do this first and put
them all on a CD so you can easily insert it when new drivers are called for
after the WinXP install.
