Hello
A Divx video looks inlaid, mosaic, tessellated in a full screen mode. The
video adapter is built in a motherboard. The same video on other computers
looks smooth.

You apparently don't have enough video power. Otherwise you should get video
looking as good as the other systems.

Hello
The interpolation is not made when enlarging to a full screen. How to turn
the interpolation on?

Your dvd player software should have needed settings built-in. And usually
video built-in to the motherboard is lacking in memory required for good dvd
usage. How much does yours have?

Hello
I used Windows media player, BSPlayer and another to play. The image was the
same. The Video built-in to the motherboard has at least 16 MB of video
memory.

I would update your DVD drivers and video drivers from the
appropriate manufacturers' website. What screen resolution
are you running and is the monitor identified by the device
manager properly.
I looked up general specs and that mobo does not have AGP
video slot and I doubt it has more than 8 MB video memory.
My guess is you are running to fast a refresh rate, to high
a color and the video is just too slow. Cut your refresh to
about 70 Hz, the screen to 800x600 or maybe 1024x768 and
color 16 or 24 bit.

Consider a better PCI video card if you have a slot
available.

Hello
The motherboard was bought 3 months ago. It includes a built-in
video -Trident Blade 3D/Pro VGA. The latest driver for the built-in video is
installed.
The screen resolution is 800x600. Refresh rate is 85 Hz. A color is 32 bit
(there's no possibility to choose 24 bit)

Your
GIGABYTE GA-6VEM SKT 370 VIA APOLLO PLE133T M/ATX 133 ATA-100 3 1 NO 2 DIM Y Y N N

Has 3 PCI slots and is old technology. I have not bothered to look up the video specification for that mobo, but I doubt if you have more than 8 MB of video ram available. To run full screen AVI you are simply dropping frames because your computer can not keep up with the demand on the video system. You can try to update drivers for the DVD and video. Also set your frame rates to no more than 60-70 frames per second and reduce color to 16 bit, maybe 24 bit. Screen resolution to 800x600, maybe 1024x768.

Socket 370 will be an OLD CPU and your video isn't even on-board AGP according to this list. But another site says you do have an AGP slot.
Check your motherboard manual to see what you really have, here is the link...

Try a lower frame rate, even dropping to 70 fps will allow
more time for video processing. To drive full screen
requires more pixels be calculated. Check your BIOS
setting, the on-board chip does run as an AGP and you can
set the AGP parameters in the BIOS. How much RAM do you
have, because your video is sharing RAM with the CPU for
other tasks...add RAM to the 512 range and set the AGP in
the BIOS to the maximum size.

Good luck with it.

Hello
The CPU is Celeron 1,1 MHz. There's no dropping frames. The problem: there's
no resolution interpolation. The Video is approximately 550X350, but the
screen resolution is 800x600. The video size should be interpolated from 550
to 800 (1.45 times) and from 350 to 509 (350x1.45). The problem: this is not
done.

I'm up late and it is way past my bed time, 2:30 AM here.
What time there?

The on-board video may not support the feature you need, you
say you have the latest updates. The AGP aperture is 64 MB
which means the available RAM for other tasks, such as
running the DVD is reduced. Try adding another stick of RAM
and see if that helps. Check device manager for the
hardware properties and the display settings at the
appropriate places.

If you have an open PCI slot, you could try another video
card just to see how it works. Be sure to install the
drivers for any new card before you install the card. Plug
and Play should then find the correct drivers.

You might have a problem with the chipset, have you run any
test on it, such as www.pcpitstop.com or something you
install locally?

Hello
Why do you think that the problem is connected with the video memory?
There's no slowing down in the video, but there's just no interpolation. The
video driver is the latest.
